Can iGoogle be used as an educational tool? iGoogle is yet another website with thousands of applications which can be added to one home page where they are easy to access and utilize. Games such as Scrabble can help students with spelling and stretch their thinking. News applications like NPR or CNN give students top news stories at the click of a button. It's worth exploring and is easy to use. I would never think to use iGoogle in the classroom and I'm still wondering about whether it is more work than it's worth. However, just being aware of its educational potential is an important observation to make.
